Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall accounting (with aid of accounting software), financial planning & analysis, budgeting, cash flow forecast, and management accounts monthly GST Return;
  • Ensure efficiency of day to day operation of overall accounting & financial functions, i.e General Ledger, Accounts Payable,
  • Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets. Inter Company transactions and Inventory Management & Control;
  • Prepare audit schedule and assist external /internal auditors to complete their audit assignments timely;
  • Liaise with financial institutions, company secretary, auditors and tax agent on various operational / compliance requirement;
  • Ensure that systems and procedures are in compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, the generally accepted accounting practices and applicable regulations;
  • Suggest, recommend and implement improvements to accounts, reports and data processing;
  • Attend to any ad-hoc tasks / analysis requested by the management from time to time;
  • Managing daily bank balances, and monitor bank and foreign currencies transactions; and
  • Manages corporate tax and GST compliance and filling of necessary Returns on timely basis.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess Degree/Diploma in Accounting or professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MIA or equivalents);
  • At least 3 – 5 years of working experience in retail / manufacturing / assembly businesses with knowledge on product costing and budgeting;
  • Knowledge of ERP system or other equivalent accounting system / applications;
  • Mature, good personality, able to work indipendently, strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with people at all level is essential;
  • Able to work under pressure and willingness to work outside normal working hours whenever required in order to meet tight datelines;
  • Good communication skills in English; and
  • Full time position available.
